KINALAMPAG ni House Assistant Minority Leader at Gabriela Rep. Arlene Brosas ang Department of Justice (DOJ) para panagutin ang mga tumulong sa pagtatago ni Quiboloy.
Para kay Brosas, hindi sapat ang pagdakip kay Quiboloy lalo pa aniya’t malinaw sa publiko ang pangungunsinte ng mga kaalyadong politiko.
“Let this be a reminder to Quiboloy that he is not a God. Harapin niya ngayon ang taumbayan,” wika ni Brosas kaugnay ng kasong child abuse, sexual abuse, at qualified trafficking, isang non-bailable offense na kinakaharap ng malapit na kaibigan ni former President Rodrigo Duterte.
“These are heinous crimes that have caused immeasurable harm to his victims, and he must be brought to justice without delay,” dugtong pa ng militanteng kongresista.
Bagamat nasa oposisyon, naniniwala si Brosas na ang pagkakaaresto ni Quiboloy ay senyales patungo sa pagkamit ng hustisya ng mga biktima.
“The arrest of Apollo Quiboloy is long overdue and marks a significant step towards justice for his victims. However, the government must not only focus on Quiboloy but also investigate those who aided him during his time in hiding,” aniya pa.
“This includes a thorough investigation into any possible involvement of individuals in positions of power who may have shielded him from accountability.”
