TALIWAS sa ginawa ng nagbitiw na Ako Bicol partylist Rep. Zaldy Co, walang plano si former House Speaker at Leyte Rep. Martin Romualdez na magtago sa gitna ng isinasagawang imbestigasyon kaugnay ng flood control scandal.
Bilang patunay, kumasa si Romualdez sa paanyaya para dumalo sa pagdinig ng Independent Commission on Infrastructure (ICI).
Sa isang kalatas, kinumpirma ng tanggapan ni Romualdez ang pagtanggap ng pormal na imbestigasyon sa ICI probe sa darating na Martes, Oktubre 14.
“Rep. Romualdez welcomes the opportunity to cooperate with the Commission and fully supports its objective of promoting transparency, accountability, and good governance,” saad sa isang bahagi ng pahayag ng dating lider ng Kamara.
