Kamara tutok sa pagresolba sa epekto ng global oil crisis

Pag-amin ni Dy, malaking tulong sa sambayanang Pilipino ang tapyas presyo sa presyo ng binebentang petrolyo sa merkado. Gayunpaman, nanindigan ang lider na Kamara na kailangan pa rin ang sama-samang pagkilos para ibsan ang mabigat na epekto ng global oil crisis.

“Magandang balita ito para sa ating mga kababayan. The Executive is doing its part to cushion the impact of the Middle East crisis, and these rollbacks provide real and immediate relief. Our task now in the House is to make sure these gains are reinforced, sustained, and translated into lower costs for food, transport, and basic goods,” wika ni Dy.

“Kailangan tuloy-tuloy ang aksyon. Kapag may mga positibong hakbang ang Executive, dapat masundan ito ng mga panukalang magpapatatag ng supply chains, magpapababa ng logistics costs, at magpoprotekta sa consumers. That is exactly what we are working on through the Legislative Energy Action Development (LEAD) Joint Committee hearings and the proposed KALINGA bill,” dugtong niya.

Kapag bumaba aniya ang presyo ng diesel, “may pagkakataon tayong pababain ang gastos sa transportasyon ng pagkain. The KALINGA bill strengthens this by supporting logistics, stabilizing essential goods supply, and ensuring priority fuel allocation for food and distribution chains.”

Muling nagsagawa kahapon ng pagdinig ang LEAD Joint Committee kasama ang multiple House panels, economic managers, at key stakeholders para bumalangkas ng polisiya para sa logistics stabilization, targeted assistance, energy supply security, at demand management, na karamihan ay nakapaloob sa panukalang KALINGA framework.

“This is exactly the approach we need—tuluy-tuloy ang trabaho at sama-sama ang pagkilos. The Executive works to provide immediate relief, and the Legislature works through the LEAD hearings and the KALINGA bill to institutionalize solutions so the benefits last longer and reach more of our kababayan.”
