“That is our understanding. We had adjourned so that we could resume on for the AMLC executive director testimony,” ani Ridon. “This provides an opportunity for the defense to peruse all of the documents that they had been mentioning na voluminous documents po ito so that they can adequately prepare for the direct and for the cross,” ani Ridon. “It has always been our intention to expedite the trial, the presentation of the evidence of the prosecution. And as you have witnessed, we insisted on proceeding to the presentation of AMLC,” giit ni Luistro. “But of course, we wish to express as well our complete submission to the authority of the Honorable Impeachment Court,” dugtong niya. “I think that confirms the position of the prosecution that the exception, that the defense argument will not hold,” ani Kapunan.
