TULUYANG nabalewala ang 34-taong pagsisilbi ng isang sundalo matapos sibakin sa pwesto dahil sa pagbawi ng “suporta” kay Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
Ayon kay Army spokesperson Col. Louie Dema-ala, inilagay sa attached/ unassigned status ang opisyal na kinilalang si Col. Audie Mongao ng Philippine Army.
“By the direction of Commanding General, PA, Col. (Audie) Mongao was immediately relieved from his post and put into A/U (attached/unassigned) status to give way for a thorough investigation by Training Command, PA,” wika ni Dema-ala.
Kinumpirma rin ni Maj. Gen. Michael Logico, commander ng Training Command, na pormal nang inalis si Mongao bilang commander ng Training Support Group.
“Investigation is underway to determine possible administrative and legal charges that may be imposed upon him in relation to his online statement,” saad naman ni Logico. (EDWIN MORENO)
