NANATILING tikom ang bibig ni Vice President Sara Duterte kaugnay ng usapin sa West Philippine Sea.
“No comment. I think comprehensive na iyong statement ni (Davao City Rep.) Paolo Duterte about me and the West Philippine Sea,” wika no VP Sara nang tanungin ng mga peryodista sa isang pulong-balitaan sa tanggapan ng Department of Education.
Una nang sinabi ni kongresistang kapatid ni VP Sara na mas angkop na uriratin ang may akda ng foreign policy ng bansa pagdating sa usapin ng West Philippine Sea – “Questions should be directed to the chief architect of foreign policy, the Secretary of National Defense and the Secretary of Foreign Affairs.”
Giit ni Rep. Duterte, hindi trabaho ng bise presidente o bahagi ng mandato ng DepEd (na pinamumunuan ni VP Sara) ang gatungan ang China.
Tumanggi rin si VP Sara na magbigay komento tungkol sa joint maritime exercise ng Pilipinas, Estados Unidos, Japan at Australia sa West Philippine Sea.
“I think that question can be answered by the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Secretary of the Department of National Defense,” ani Sara.
