Diesel posibleng pumalo sa P200 kada litro?

AMINADO ang Department of Energy (DOE) na walang magagawa ang pamahalaan para pigilan ang patuloy na pagtaas sa presyo ng mga produktong petrolyo sa lokal na merkado.

Sa isang panayam sa radyo, sinabi ni Energy Secretary Sharon Garin na hindi rin inaalis ng kagawaran ang posibilidad na pumalo sa halagang P200 ang halaga kada litro ng krudo bunsod ng patuloy na hidwaan sa pagitan ng Estados Unidos at Iran.

Ayon kay Garin, nakasalalay sa mga bansang sangkot sa hidwaan sa Middle East ang magiging presyo ng krudo.

“It’s not within the control of our President nor DOE or our oil companies. The prices are determined by the behavior of the international community,” paliwanag ng Kalihim.

“So if you ask me, ‘Is it going to reach P200/L?’ I really do hope it won’t… but it’s a possibility also kasi it depends on the actions of the countries involved in this or even the behavior of those involved in the war,” aniya pa.
