MAY bigat at sustansya ang ikatlo at ikaapat na impeachment complaints na inihain laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte, ayon sa House Committee on Justice.
Para sa komiteng pinamumunuan ni Batangas 2nd district Rep. Gerville Luistro, “sufficient in substance” o mayroong sapat ang batayan ang pangatlo at ikaapat na impeachment complaints na isinampa laban kay Duterte.
Bago pa man nagbotohan ang mga kongresistang miyembro ng naturang komite, isinalang sa masusing deliberasyon ang verified complaint na idinulog ni Atty. Nathaniel Cabrera, na inindorso nina Deputy Speaker Paolo Ortega V na kinatawan ng La Union 1st District sa kamara at House Human Rights Committee chairman Benny Abante na kongresista ng Manila 6th District.
Sufficient in form din ang ikatlong impeachment complaint na inihain ng grupo ni Fr. Jose Saballa, matapos manindigan ang 54 na kongresista sa mosyon ni Tingog partylist Rep. Jude Acidre.
Bago pa man wakasan ang deliberasyon, iminungkahi ni San Juan City Rep. Ysabel Maria Zamora sa komite na maglabas ng abiso para sa bise presidente para magsumite ng tugon sa loob ng 10 calendar days mula sa petsa nang pagtanggap ng tanggapan ni Duterte.
“There is a motion for the issuance of notice to Vice President Sara Duterte for the filing of her answer to the two impeachment complaints within the non-extendable period of 10 (calendar) days, do I hear a second? The same has been seconded, is there any objection? Hearing none… the motion is granted. The committee is directed to issue the necessary notice to the respondent” pangwakas na sambit ni Luistro.
