WALANG natira sa P4.5-bilyong confidential and intelligence fund na inilaan para sa Office of the President noong nakaraang taon.
Sa budget deliberation ng Kamara, inamin ni Bataan Rep. Albert Garcia na gumastos ng P562.5 milyong confidential funds at P600 milyong intelligence funds kada quarter ang Office of the President (OP) noong 2024.
“These are spent over the quarter or per three months, and undergo COA (Commission on Audit) process. These are withdrawn in cash per quarter, to be used for 90 days and subsequently liquidated,” wika ni Garcia na tumatayong sponsor ng 2026 proposed budget para sa tanggapan ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
Kabilang aniya sa tinustusan ng CIF ang kampanya ng pamahalaan kontra anti-money laundering at terorismo, Philippine Center on Transnational Crime, Presidential Commission on Visiting Forces Agreement, National Coast Watch System, Presidential Situation Room, National Cybersecurity Interagency Committee, People’s Center on Transnational Crime, at Anti-Terrorism Council Project Management Center.
