HINDI maisasakatuparan ng administrasyong Marcos ang pangakong masisilungan ng mga maralitang pamilya sa iba’t-ibang bahagi ng bansa, ayon kay Senate Minority Leader Aquilino Pimentel III.
Ang dahilan — sintunado umano ang programa ng Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) na aniya’y nakatuon lang sa may kaya, at hindi sa mga tunay na target ng programa.
Panawagan ni Pimentel, personal na pangasiwaan ng Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang pagrerebisa sa tinawag niyang palyadong mekanismo ng Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH).
“This is my personal message to the Office of the President: I noticed that there is room for improvement in the housing budget. There’s still time for the President to intervene and review it. After all, in his message, the President emphasized that the DHSUD’s 4PH program is his flagship initiative,” wika ni ni Pimentel.
“There is something out of tune. There is something na sintunado sa programang yun. So please find out what that is kasi out of concern naman ito sa administration po ni President Marcos,” dugtong ng senador.
Para kay Pimentel, dapat isaalang-alang ng DHSUD ang low-income families na tinukoy mismo ng Pangulo na prayoridad sa flagship housing program ng gobyerno.
