DALAWANG araw matapos tuluyang lisanin ng bagyong Carina ang Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), patuloy na nababalot sa karimlan ang hindi bababa sa 9,000 kabahayan sa Metro Manila at karatig lalawigan ng Bulacan.
Gayunpaman, tiniyak ng Manila Electric Company (Meralco) na puspusan na ang ginagawang trabaho upang maibalik ang kuryente sa mga apektadong lugar.
Pag-amin ng Meralco, may natitira pang 9,000 konsyumer ang walang kuryente at karamihan sa kanila ay galing sa Metro Manila at sa Bulacan na aniya’y nananatiling lubog sa baha.
“Majority of the remaining affected customers are expected to be restored within the day, while full restoration is expected by tomorrow,” saad ni Meralco vice president at head of corporate communications Joe Zaldarriaga.
“Once again, we would like to extend our thanks to our customers for their patience and understanding. Rest assured that our line crew and personnel are all following protocols to make sure it is already safe for our customers before services are restored,” ani Zaldarriaga.
