PARA kay House Speaker Martin Romualdez, sumasalamin pinakahuling resulta ng survey ng Octa Research Group sa kolektibong pagsisikap ng Kamara.
Sa isang kalatas, partikular na tinukoy ni Romualdez ang 62 percent trust rating na nasungkit sa survey para sa 2nd quarter ng kasalukuyang taon kung saan bahagyang tumaas ang tiwala ng mga mamamayan hindi lamang sa kanya kundi sa mga kapwa kongresista sa Kamara.
“We attribute these positive trust ratings to the collaborative efforts of the House in passing pro-people legislation and conducting thorough oversight functions to address critical national issues,” wika ni Romualdez.
“Tayo ay lubos na nagpapasalamat sa sambayanang Pilipino sa pagtitiwalang patuloy na ibinibigay sa ating liderato sa Kongreso. It is both humbling and inspiring for me. Your faith in our work in Congress is a constant reminder of the immense responsibility we carry in serving this nation,” dagdag niya.
Base sa 2nd quarter survey OCTA Research na isinagawa sa pagitan ng Hunyo 30 at Hulyo 5, bahagyang tumaas ang trust rating ni Romualdez – 62 percent mula sa 61 porsyentong naitala noong unang tatlong buwan
Kapansin-pansin din sa naturang datos ang 9 percent na itinaas sa hanay ng mga respondents mula sa Mindanao – ang dating 42 percent, humataw sa 51 porsyento.
“It affirms that we are on the right track and, more importantly, that our efforts to pass laws and initiatives that improve the lives of our fellow Filipinos are resonating with the public. Tayo ay grateful dito at nananatili ang ating dedikasyon na higitan pa ang ating nagawa sa Kongreso.”
Gayunpaman, naniniwala ang lider ng Kamara na ang pag-angat ng tiwala ng mga mamamayan ay nangangahulugan ng hamon para sa kanya at mga kapwa kongresista na paigtingin ang pagsusulong ng mga panukalang kapaki-pakinabang sa taumbayan at tutugon sa usapin ng POGO, droga at extrajudicial killings.
“Whether in addressing economic challenges, enhancing public services, or securing the welfare of every Filipino, we will continue to work diligently to bring positive change to every corner of our nation,” dagdag pa ni Romualdez.
