PITO sa kada 10 Pinoy ang nasisiyahan sa estilo ng pamumuno ni Leyte Rep. Martin Romualdez bilang Speaker ng Kamara, ayon pinakahuling resulta ng survey na pinangasiwaan ng WR Numero Research.
Sa isang kalatas, nagpahayag naman ng suporta si Senior Deputy Speaker David Suarez sa aniya’y husay at dedikasyon ni Romualdez.
Sinegundahan rin ni Suarez ang datos ng Philippine Public Opinion Monitor ng WR Numero Research kung saan lumalabas na 68 percent ng mga respondents ang may kumpiyansa sa lider ng Kamara.
Batay sa resulta ng survey, pumalo sa 68 percent ang satisfaction rating na nasungkit ni Romualdez.
“This survey result underscores the confidence of our people not just in their local representatives, but in the collective leadership of Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez. His steady hand and vision for a Bagong Pilipinas guide the House of Representatives to remain focused on the needs of our communities,” wika ni Suarez.
“The role of a congressman goes beyond lawmaking inside the halls of Batasan. It is about being present in the lives of our constituents — listening to their needs, finding solutions to their daily struggles, and ensuring that government resources are delivered to the grassroots. That is the essence of representation,” dugtong ng mambabatas.
Dagdag ng Quezon province solon, ang ugnayan sa pagitan ng tao at kanilang mga kinatawan ang pundasyon ng epektibong pambansang kaunlaran.
“Nation-building begins in every district. When Filipinos feel that their voices are heard and their welfare is protected, it strengthens not only our democracy but also our collective drive to move the country forward,” paliwanag niya.
Kabilang rin sa datos ng survey ang 7 percent na hindi bilib sa congressman na kumakatawan sa kinabibilangang distrito sa Kamara.
Sa ilalim aniya ng liderato ni Romualdez, patuloy na uunahin ng Kamara ang mga hakbang na magpapagaan at magpapabuti sa buhay ng karaniwang Pilipino — mula sa pagpapababa ng presyo ng pagkain hanggang sa pagtiyak ng de-kalidad na edukasyon at serbisyong pangkalusugan.
