LUBOS na pinapurihan ni Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez ang malaking ambag ng Filipino Muslim community para sa patuloy na pagtataguyod at pagpapaunlad ng bansa, sa hangarin na rin ng magkaroon ng magandang kinabukasan para sa lahat.
Sa kanyang mensahe kaugnay nasa pagdiriwang ng Eid’l Fitr, na hudyat ng pagtatapos ng holy month of Ramadan para sa Islamic faithfuls, sinabi ni Speaker Romualdez na ang Pilipinas ay tahanan din ng masiglang Muslim community na mayroong ambag para pagyamanin ang bansa.
“Let us embrace the spirit of inclusivity and understanding, fostering unity and respect for all faiths and beliefs,” ang pahayag pa ng lider ng Kamara.
Ayon kay Speaker Romualdez, kaisa siya ng bawat kapatid na Muslim sa pagdiriwang ng huling araw ng Ramadan, ang banal na buwan para sa fasting, prayer at reflection.
“As we gather with loved ones to share in the festivities, let us not only rejoice in the abundance of food and blessings but also in the deeper spiritual meaning behind this sacred time,” sabi pa ng Leyte solon.
Naniniwala si Speaker Romualdez na ang Ramadan ay nagtuturo ng kahalagahan ng pagpapasensya, awa at self-discipline kung saan panahon din ito pagninilay tampok ang pagbabago sa sarili at spiritual enlightenment.
“Through fasting and acts of charity, Muslims demonstrate their commitment to compassion and generosity, reaching out to those in need and fostering solidarity within their communities,” ayon pa sa House Speaker.
“May this Eid bring not only joy but also renewed hope and optimism for our shared future. Let us carry forward the values of compassion, generosity and unity that define this occasion, extending kindness and goodwill to all,” dugtong niya.
