HINDI bababa sa isang bilyong pisong halaga ng droga ang nasamsam ng mga operatiba ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) sa mga anti-illegal drug operations sa loob lang ng isang linggo.
Sa ulat ng PDEA, partikular na tinukoy ang bunga ng mga positibong lakad mula Mayo 23 hanggang Mayo 30, 2025.
Batay sa datos ng ahensya, nasa 63 anti-illegal drug operations ang isinagawa sa buong bansa. Pasok sa mga nalambat ng PDEA ang malalaking sindikato ng droga, gayundin ang mga maliliit na drug peddlers at clandestine drug den.
Nasa 91 drug personalities kabilang ang mga importer, drug pushers, courier, drug den operator, maintainer, empleyado at mga parokyano ng nabistong tinaguriang “pwestuhan” ang naaresto.
Nasamsam sa operasyon ang 156,407.80 gramo ng shabu, 80.94 gramo ng pinatuyong dahon ng marijuana, 5,000 gramo ng pinatuyong sanga (stalks) ng marijuana stalks, at 61,662 piraso ng tanim na marijuana.
Sa imbentaryo ng PDEA, lumalabas na ang mga nasamsam na droga ay may katumbas na halagang P1.08 bilyon.
