“At present, the NSC is composed of the President as Chairperson, and 26 officials from various offices of the Executive and Legislative branches as members,” ayon sa EO 81.
Sa hanay ng Gabinete, pasok sa NSC sina Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, at mga Kalihim ng Department Foreign Affairs, Department of Justice, Department of National Defense, Department of Interior and Local Government, Department of Labor and Employment; Presidential Communication Office, Chief Presidential Legal Counsel; National Security Adviser.
- Senate President
- House Speaker
- Senate President Pro-Tempore
- Deputy House Speakers
- Senate Majority Floor Leader
- Senate Minority Floor Leader
“There is a need to further guarantee that the NSC remains a resilient national security institution, capable of adapting to evolving challenges and opportunities both domestically and internationally.”
