HINDI pagtupad sa kasunduan ang dahilan sa likod ng planong pagpapatalsik kay Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
Sa pagharap ng nagpakilalang bagman sa Kamara, ibinahagi ni Ramil Madriaga ang umano’y pagpayag ni noo’y Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte na maging running mate ni Marcos noong 2022 presidential election na boluntaryong bababa sa puwesto pagsapit ng 2025 para bigyang daan ang pagsampa sa Palasyo ni Duterte.
Ayon kay Madriaga, mismong si former President Rodrigo Duterte umano ang nagbanggit sa kanya ng naturang kasunduan.
“Sometime in November 2021, PRRD mentioned to me that Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos, Jr. will run for President while Sara will serve as his running mate. PRRD added that a few months ago, BBM and Sen. Imee Marcos visited him to discuss a possible alliance in the 2022 National Elections,” ani Madriaga.
“During this meeting, BBM was able to convince PRRD to have Sara as BBM’s Vice-President. However, they also agreed that by 2025, BBM will voluntarily step down to give way for a Sara presidency,” dugtong niya kung saan pagsapit naman ng 2028 ay muling puputiryahin ng vice-president ang puwesto sa Malakanyang.
Matapos na makapanumpa ang nakababatang Duterte bilang bise-president, sinabi ni Madriaga na nakipagpulong ang former president sa ilang retired military generals kung saan pinag-usapan ang mga maaaring senaryo kung hindi tutuparin ni Marcos ang naturang kasunduan.
“The general objective was to ensure that BBM will only serve less than four years of his term as President, so that Sara, upon assumption to the presidency, will still be eligible for the presidency in 2028,” salaysay niya.
“I remember that one of the plans considered was to sabotage BBM’s administration by using some of BBM’s own men (either recommended by PRRD for appointment or allied with the Duterte’s) to reveal supposed corruption issues that will serve as a precursor for an impeachment complaint,” pahayag pa ni Madriaga.
“In the event that BBM will not voluntarily step down or hand over the presidency to Sara, extraordinary measures of overthrowing BBM will be considered which include assassination, mass resignation of government officials, civil disobedience, and even an armed assault of Malacañang Palace,” dagdag niya.
Ayon kay Madriaga, inutusan din siya ni former PRRD na maglatag ng assassinations o armed hits sa ilang opisyal ng Marcos administration para magkaroon ng civil unrest at susundan ng military coup.
“One of my assignments was to recruit civil groups, school clubs, fraternities, criminal groups, and syndicates,” saad din niya kung saan pinaninindigan ni Madriaga ang mga rebelasyon niya sa House Committee on Justice impeachment proceedings ay pagpapatunay na walang katotohanan ang pagmamatigas ng bise-presidente na wala silang naging anumang ugnayan.
