USAP-USAPAN sa Palasyo ang di umano’y napipintong ‘bakasyon’ ang kontrobersyal na Presidential Adviser Paul Soriano na inetsapwera ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. sa pangangasiwa ng ikalawang State of the Nation Address ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. matapos ang bulilyaso sa promotional video ng Department of Tourism (DOT).
Pag-amin ni House Secretary General Reginald Velasco, ang Radio Television Malacañang (RTVM) magdidirek ng SONA at hindi Soriano na dating nangasiwa sa taunang ulat ng Pangulo sa pagbubukas ng Kongreso sa ika-24 ng Hulyo.
Ayon kay Velasco, mismong ang Office of the President at Presidential Communications Office ang nagbigay kumpirmasyon hinggil sa naturang impormasyon.
“Actually, ang information na nakuha namin from the Office of the President, and the President Communications Office, RTVM will take care of it,” ani Velasco.
“In other words, yung mga veteran ano nila, sabi nila kayang-kaya nila yan. These people, yung RTVM staff all the events where the president is the main guest or keynote speaker sila ang nagko-cover, so they know what to do already. So yun ang info na nakuha namin.”
“I don’t know but that’s the information we got in today’s final meeting… ng inter-agency.”
Nang tanungin naman kung bakit hindi na si Soriano ang magdidirek ng SONA, ang tanging sagot ni Velasco – “That information I do not know.”
