TILA nakakaramdam na ng pagkainip ng isang kongresista sa aniya’y usad-pagong na paghahanap kay Kingdom of Jesus Christ founder Pastor Apollo Quiboloy na batay mismo sa pamunuan ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ay nasa loob pa rin ng 30-ektaryang KOJC Compound sa Davao City.
Hamon ni House Committee on Metro Manila Development chairperson at Manila Rep. Rolando Valeriano sa PNP at iba pang ahensya ng pamahalaan, dapat nang mabuwag ang tinawag niyang Davao Mafia na kinabibilangan ni Quiboloy at iba pang prominenteng politiko at mga pribadong sektor na nakabase sa naturang rehiyon.
Kinastigo rin ni Valeriano ang lokal na pamahalaan na nagbigay ng permiso sa KOJC na makapagtayo ng underground facility sa KOJC Compound na pag-aari ng puganteng si Quiboloy.
“Those underground facilities could not have been built without the acts of commission and omission of government offices, private entities, and individuals,” wika ng mambabatas, kasabay ng panawagan linisin ang tinawag niyang “systematic corruption” sa Davao City na balwarte nina former President Rodrigo Duterte at anak na si Vice-President Sara Duterte.
“There should be a thorough inventory of guns, ammunition, explosives, and dangerous chemicals in the possession of individuals in Davao City. Any and all illegal POGOs and fake BPOs in Davao City must be raided and dismantled,” dagdag pa ng solon.
Nanawagan din ni Valeriano sa mga ahensya ng gobyerno na ipasara ang mga POGO sa Metro Davao gaya ng utos ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. sa kanyang ikatlong State of the Nation Address (SONA).
“The National Telecommunications Commission must conduct a regulatory audit of all entities with broadcasting and internet services franchises in Davao,” aniya pa.
“NTC must make sure none of those franchises are being used for purposes that are illegal and contrary to their franchises from Congress.”
