PALAISIPAN sa hanay ng mga militanteng kongresista ang kabiguan ng House Secretary General na isumite sa Office of the House Speaker ang tatlong “verified impeachment complaints” laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte.
Ayon kay Kabataan Rep. Raoul Manuel, nasa pag-iingat pa rin ng tanggapan ni Secretary General Reginald Velasco ang sipi ng mga reklamo laban sa pangalawang pangulo.
“Hawak pa rin po ng House Secretary General. Even though nakapag sabi na siya na verified ang tatlong complaints. Ang isang hinihintay diumano ay baka kasi mayroong mga fellow House members na either mag-file ng fourth impeachment containing the enough numbers, yung one third ng House, or mag-endorse ng any of the first three complaints,” wika ng kongresista.
“Actually, for us no problem if they do that, kaso hindi puwedeng yun ang magiging dahilan para tumagal ang pagsulong ng tatlo,” dugtong ng mambabatas.
Giit niya, hindi tama na hino-hold ang impeachment complaint.
“Tingin ko dito, disservice na ito doon sa maraming mga complainant na pumirma doon sa first three complaints kasi supposedly talaga kahit batay sa Constitutions at sa rules mismo ng House, when we received impeachment complainants, immediately dapat i-forward sa House Speaker,” patutsada ni Manuel.
