NAKAAMBA ang pagtalakay ng Kamara sa usapin ng pagpapatalsik kay Vice President Sara Duterte matapos kumpirmahin ng Office of the House Secretary General na tapos na ang pagsusuri sa tatlong impeachment complaints na inihain laban sa pangalawang pangulo.
Gayunpaman, nilinaw ni House Secretary General Reginald Velasco na hinihintay pa ang ikaapat na reklamo bago isumite lahat ng impeachment complaints sa Office of the Speaker.
“So far naman, itong tatlo they constitute verified complaints based on the evaluation of the Legal Department. Ang talagang hinihintay nalang natin if there will be any new complaint,” wika ni Velasco.
Pag-amin ni Velasco may mga kongresistang nagpahayag ng kahandaan mag-endorso ng ikaapat na reklamo.
“By next week hopefully they’ll make a decision already. I will talk to them. Anyway, the session will resume Monday so I hope to see them personally and talk with them,” dagdag ng House official.
“Hopefully by next week we will be able to resolve this with the members, with the House members who have expressed interest in either endorsing a complaint or filing a new complaint. So hopefully by next week we’ll be able to resolve it together with them.”
Sa sandaling maisumite sa Office of the Speaker ang reklamo, meron lang 10 session days upang para ipadala ang impeachment complaint sa House Committee on Rules na kailangan naman ipasa sa ang reklamo sa House Committee on Justice para sa pagdinig.
Sa mahigit 300 kongresista, kailangan lang ng 103 boto para ipadala ang reklamo sa Senado na tatayong impeachment court.
