“The brave men and women of the Philippine Coast Guard should be celebrated, not attacked, ridiculed, or mocked. Those who mock the PCG for speaking out against water cannon attacks are not just insensitive—they are complicit in normalizing aggression against our sovereign rights,” pahayag ng ranking House official.
“These incidents are acts of intimidation and violence. They should never be taken lightly,” dagdag ng kongresista.
“Spreading disinformation at our coast guard for standing firm in the face of harassment only plays into the hands of those who wish to undermine our sovereignty. This is not humor—it is a dangerous narrative that weakens national resolve,” sabi pa ng kongresista.
“This bill is a tribute to the courage of our coast guard and a rebuke to those who belittle their sacrifice. We will not allow disinformation, mockery, or silence to erode our claim to what is rightfully ours,” ani Adiong sa inihaing panukala.
“I stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our fishermen, our coast guard, and every Filipino who refuses to be intimidated. We will modernize the PCG, defend our seas, and push back—on the water and in the war of narratives.” (ROMER R. BUTUYAN)
