Total ban sa deployment ng Pinoy sa Israel ipinatupad ng POEA

IPINATUPAD na ng Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) ang total ban sa deployment ng Filipino workers sa conflict-hit areas sa Israel dahil sa panganib na dulot ng Israel-Hamas conflict doon.

“No deployment as of now,” sabi ni Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Officer in Charge Leo Hans Cacdac at idinagdag na ang pinagtutuunan ngayon ay ang seguridad ng mga Pinoy na nasa Israel, partikular sa Gaza Strip at Tel Aviv.

Nakahanda rin umano ang gobyerno sakaling mag-utos ng mandatory evacuation and repatriation sa mga Pinoy sa Israel na nais nang umuwi ng bansa.

“We are just waiting for the advisory of the government of Israel. We need to balance the situation based on the advisory because if we talk of mass repatriation, we have to factor in the safety and security concerns,” sabi ni Cacdac.
