SA gitna ng pagtatago para iwasan ang mandamiento de arresto na inilabas ng Senado, nananatiling aktibo sa pagsagot sdi suspended Bamban Mayor Alice Guo sa pinakabagong alegasyon laban sa kanya.
Partikular na sinagot ni Guo ang alegasyon ni Senador Sherwin gatchalian kaugnay ng di umano’y P10-milyong pondong inilaan ng alkalde para burahin sa mundo ang mga senador na nagdiin sa kanya.
Sa kanyang Facebook post, hayagang sinabi ni Guo wala siyang kinalaman sa mga death threat na natatanggap ni Gatchalian.
“I assure the public and Sen. Win Gatchalian that I do not pose any threat to him or to anyone. I believe in and adhere to the rule of law, and not the rule of men,” wika ng nagtatagong mayor.
“I categorically deny any involvement in the death threats received by Sen. Win Gatchalian. I have no capacity, much less intent, to cause any harm against anyone. In fact, I myself have been receiving actual and online threats since the start of this issue. I am well-aware of the feeling of receiving threats against my person, safety and security. Thus, I strongly condemn such inhumane or callous acts,” ani Guo.
