MAY bagong Kalihim na ang Department of Transportation (DOTr), pahayag ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin.
Sa isang kalatas, kinumpirma ni Bersamin ang pagbibitiw sa pwesto ni Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista. Ang dahilan ng Kalihim, kailangan ipagamot ang iniindang karamdaman.
Sa pagbaba ni Bautista, nilinaw naman ng Palace official na may napili na si Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na kapalit ni Bautista – si Vince Dizon na nagsilbing presidente ng Bases and Conversion Development Authority (BCDA) sa ilalim ng nakalipas na administrasyon.
Katunayan aniya, sasabak na si Dizon sa trabaho bilang DOTr Secretary pagsapit ng Pebrero 21.
“He is already authorized by the Office of the President to start the transition at the DOTr in coordination with the team of Secretary Jaime Bautista, who has resigned due to health reasons,” mensahe ni Bersamin sa mga mamamahayag sa Palasyo.
