Maharlika Bill, lalagdaan ng Pangulo bago ang SONA 

GANAP nang tinanggap ng Palasyo ang panukalang Maharlika Investment Fund para sa lagda ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. bago pa man sumapit ang takdang araw ng kanyang ikalawang State of the Nation Address sa Hunyo 24.

Ayon kay Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Secretary Cheloy Garafil, Hulyo 4 nang dumating sa Office of the Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs ang kontrobersyal na panukalang batas.

Una nang inihayag ng Pangulo na rerepasuhin muna niya ang mga pagbabagong ginawa ng Kongreso sa panukalang isinulong ng administrasyon, bago pirmahan.

Samantala, tinukoy na rin ni Marcos ang 20 panukalang itutulak niyang maipasa ng Kongreso bago matapos ang taon.
