ITINALAGA ni Pangulong Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. si Senador Sonny Angara bilang bagong secretary ng Department of Education (DepEd).
Sa Facebook post nitong Martes, sinabi ng Presidential Communications Office (PCO) na iaappoint na niya si Angara bilang DepEd Secretary kahalili ng nagbitaw na kalihim at bise presidente Sara Duterte.
“President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has announced that he is set to appoint Senator Juan Edgardo ‘Sonny’ Angara as the new Secretary of the Department of Education (DepEd), replacing Vice President Sara Duterte who resigned last June 19, 2024, effective July 19, 2024.” saad sa post.
Tinanggap din ng pamunuan ng DepEd si Angara bilang bagong kalihim.
“The DepEd community looks forward to working with the new leadership as we continue our relentless pursuit towards improving the quality of Basic Education in the country,” ayon sa kalatas ng DepEd.
