HAYAGANG tinabla ng korte ang hiling ni former Negros Oriental Rep. Arnulfo Teves Jr. na manatili sa National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) detention facility sa loob ng National Bilibid Prison habang nililitis ang kaso.
Kasabay ng pagtanggi ng Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 51, inatasan rin ng korte ang NBI sa bisa ng commitment order, na agad na ilipat sa si Teves sa Metro Manila District Jail (MMDJ) sa Camp Bagong Diwa, sa Bicutan, Taguig City.
“This Court finds no merit in the motion of the accused to maintain his custody with the NBI detention facility.”
Hawak ng Manila RTC Branch 51 ang kasong murder, frustrated murder at attempted murder laban kay Teves kaugnay ng pagpatay kay dating Negros Oriental governor Roel Degamo at 10 iba pa. (ITOH SON)
