Ito ang paglalarawan ni Speaker Martin Romualdez sa pahayag ng pagdadalamhati sa pagpanaw ni former Nueva Ecija Gov. Edno Joson na minsan na rin nagsilbing kongresista sa Kamara.
“His loss is deeply felt by those who had the privilege of working with him and by the many lives he touched through his years of service,” saad ng lider ng Kamara.
Sa ilalim ng 14th Congress magkasama sina Joson at Romualdez.
Ayon kay Romualdez, sa panahong miyembro ng Kongreso, isinulong ni Joson ang mga panukalang naglalayon iangat ang ang sektor ng pagsasaka sa mga kanayunan – partikular sa Nueva Ecija.
“His voice in Congress was one of reason and action, always pushing for measures that ensure the prosperity of Nueva Ecija and the upliftment of the Filipino people,” dagdag ng Leyte solon.
Bukod sa pagiging gobernador at kongresista ng kanyang lalawigan, nanungkulan rin ang yumaong congressman bilang administrador – “It only goes to show his commitment to governance and public service that defined his career.”
“His leadership was always guided by a deep sense of duty, putting the needs of the people at the forefront of his efforts,” dugtong ng House Speaker.
“His work in Congress and beyond will continue to serve as an inspiration to lawmakers and public servants who strive to make a meaningful difference. May Gov.
