APRUBADO na sa Commission on Appointment (CA) ang pagtatalaga ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. sa dalawang commissioner ng Commission on Elections (Comelec).
Bukod kina Comelec Commissioner Maria Norina Tangaro-Casingal at Commissioner Noli Rafol Pipo, lusot din sa CA ang pagtaas sa ranggo ng 84 senior officers ng Armed Forces of the Philippines.
“After thorough deliberation regarding their qualifications and fitness, your committee is assured that they possess the necessary attributes to be promoted to the ranks to which they have been appointed,” pahayag ni Camiguin Lone District Rep. JJ Romualdo na tumatayong chairman ng CA Committee on National Defense.
Nakatakda naman magtapos ang termino nina Tangaro-Casingal (na ipinalit kay Socorro Inting) at Pipo (na humalili Marlon Casquejo) sa 2032.
