“I vehemently deny all the baseless and irresponsible accusations made against me during the Senate hearing held today. These unsubstantiated claims, which attempt to implicate me are not only hearsay but are also politically motivated designed to mislead the public and deflect accountability,” bungad ng Bicolano solon.
“The 2025 GAA was certified and approved by both Houses of Congress and signed by the President. As mentioned during the Senate hearing, the President even vetoed some provisions and withheld the release of funds for projects. However, the validity of the 2025 GAA is currently the subject of a case before the Supreme Court and the Ombudsman. For this reason, I am unable to comment on the matter to the public but reserve my right to comment on this matter, if and when, required by the courts where this matter is pending,” anang partylist solon.
Sa panig nina Marikina City Rep. Marcy Teodoro, Pasig City Rep. Roman Romulo, Quezon City 6th Dist. Rep. Marivic Co-Pilar, Quezon City 5th Dist. Rep. Patrick Michael Vargas, Laguna 4th Dist. Rep. Benjamin Agarao Jr., Quezon City 1st Dist. Arjo Atayde at Romblon Rep.
Sa kanyang paglalahad sa plenaryo ng Kamara, tahasang sinabi ni Co-Pilar na “I rise today on a matter of personal and collective privilege to depend not only on my name, but also the integrity of this institution.
“Let me make this crystal clear, these are outright lies and baseless accusations. This fabrication has no basis in fact and has no place in public discourse,” pahayag pa ni Co-Pilar.
I have never spoken to them, nor have I ever authorized or allowed any representative to deal with them.”
“I say this without hesitation; I’ll hold them accountable. My office will launch an exhaustive investigation regarding this matter. I will also file a libel case against the Discaya so they may answer before the proper court of law for this deliberate action to destroy my reputation by deceiving the public.,” saad pa niya
“I heard he bidded on projects sa aming budget sa Romblon, pero I have no hand and knowledge on how he pays those involved!”
(ROMEO ALLAN BUTUYAN II)
