SA hangaring paghilumin ang masamang reputasyon dahil sa kabi-kabilang kapalpakan ng ahensya sa mga nakalipas na panahon, inilunsad ni Land Transportation Office (LTO) ang isang gimik – door-to-door delivery ng mga lisensya.
Sa isang kalatas, ibinida ni LTO chief Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor Mendoza isang text hotline kung saan pwede aniyang magpadeliver ng lisensya ang mga motoristang hindi pa nakukuha ang mga plastic cards gamit ang ““Aksyon on the Spot 09292920865.”
“We will immediately print their driver’s license here in the Central Office and we will also give them the option if they want their plastic-printed driver’s license through our accredited courier service,” wika ng LTO chief.
Aniya, limang porsyento na lamang ang mga apektado ng backlog na hindi pa nakakakuha ng kanilang plastic-printed driver’s license matapos matugunan ang milyun-milyong backlog sa paper-printed driver’s license.
“We already downloaded sufficient supply of plastic cards down to the licensing offices across the country. Kaya dapat lahat ay may plastic-printed driver’s license na dahil wala na pong backlog dito,” pagtatapos niya.
