BUO ang tiwala ng House prosecution panel na lubos na napagtibay ang kasong grave threat laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte sa pagtatangka sa buhay ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., at dalawang iba pa.
Para kay House lead prosecutor at Batangas Rep. Gerville Luistro, ikinasiya ng lupon ng tagausig ang presentasyon ng mga testigo para sa nabanggit na impeachment charge.
“Of course, we feel happy because finally we are able to accomplish at least one article. Three more to go,” wika ng ranking House official sa isang press briefing.
“Malayo na, pero malayo pa. But nevertheless, we are already preparing for the succeeding articles. Ang susunod natin, of course, is confidential fund. And the prosecution is always ready for the upcoming trial,” dugtong ni Luistro.
Aniya, nanatiling positibo ang pananaw ng prosekusyon matapos ang isalang ang tatlong “powerful witnesses” sa katauhan ng mga opisyal ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
“We are positive because in this article, naging napakaganda at kumpleto ng testimonya ng ating mga testigo. We had only three witnesses, and I must say that all of them are powerful witnesses.”
Matatandaan na unang iprinisinta ng tagausig si NBI Cybercrime Division Senior Agent John Mark Calilung, kasunod naman ay si NBI Bangsamoro Regional Director Jeremy Lotoc at panghuli si NBI Director Melvin Matibag.
Para kay Luistro, mahalaga ang salaysay ng NBI chief para mapatatag ang argumento ng prosekusyon.
