“Nagsalita na po yung ating Pangulo — Philippines will not cooperate in any investigation na gagawin po ng ICC because there is a question of jurisdiction,” wika ni Fajardo, sa aniya’y rekomendasyon ng Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) at Department of Justice (DOJ).
“Even our Office of the Solicitor General and the Department of Justice have already spoken. On the part of the PNP, we will align on the stand of the national government po,” dugtong ng PNP spokesperson.
“But if there are any individuals who wish to cooperate in their own personal capacity, they are not precluded from doing so. But as the PNP as an organization, naka-align po tayo sa position ng ating national government,” aniya pa.
“The ICC has launched a witness appeal in the Philippine situation. Anybody who has credible information about Duterte’s “war on drugs” can submit through https://appeals.icc-cpi.int. Info transmitted will be kept confidential, but with consent can be brought up during trial,” ayon kay Conti. (Edwin Moreno)
