TALIWAS sa giit ni Ombudsman Crispin Remulla, inamin ng Department of Justice (DOJ) na wala pang impormasyon o kumpirmasyon man lang hinggil sa paglabas ng warrant of arrest mula sa International Criminal Court (ICC) laban kay Senador Ronald ‘Bato’ dela Rosa.
Bukod kay Remulla, kabilang rin sa nagsasabing may lumabas nang warrant laban sa senador si dating presidential spokesperson Harry Roque.
Gayunpaman, iginiit ni Prosecutor General Richard Fadullon na hindi beripikado ang naturang impormasyon.
Nilinaw rin ni Fadullon na hindi trabaho ng DOJ subaybayan ang galaw ni Dela Rosa.
“No, we haven’t… the task of monitoring the movement or whereabouts of Sen. Dela Rosa is a task of our law enforcement and Intelligence operatives, not the DOJ. Upon what information Harry Roque bases his claims is beyond us and requires validation,” wika ni Fadullon.
Maging si Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla, nanindigan na walang anumang dokumentong magbibigay kumpirmasyon sa ICC warrant kontra dela Rosa.
“We have no official document to work on… maybe Harry [Roque] knows more than I do. I will only confirm when I see the actual document,” ani Remulla.
Buwan ng Nobyembre nang ihayag ng Ombudsman na lumabas na ang ICC warrant laban kay dela Rosa. Katunayan pa aniya, may kopya na si Ombudsman Crispin Remulla.
