SA bisa ng warrant of arrest na inilabas ng husgado, dinakip ng mga operatiba ng Philippine National Police ang mayor ng bayan ng Pandi, Bulacan dahil sa kasong panghahalay na isinampa sa lungsod ng Caloocan.
Bukod kay Pandi Mayor Enrico Roque, kasama rin sa mga arestado ang hindi pinangalanang konsehal at kawani ng munisipalidad.
Sa ulat ng Northern Police District (NPD), inaresto ang alkalde sa pagmamay-aring Amana Waterpark resort sa bayan ng Pandi matapos maglabas ng mandamiento de arresto ang Caloocan Regional Trial Court para sa kasong rape (2 counts).
Walang inirekomendang piyansa para sa mga akusadong kasalukuyang nakapiit sa NPD Custodial Facility.
Wala pang inilalabas na pahayag ang kampo ni Mayor Roque.
“This operation demonstrates the commitment of the Northern Police District to uphold justice, regardless of who is involved. We will continue to pursue our mandate to ensure the safety of our communities and hold accountable those who violate the law,” saad sa pahayag ni NPD officer-in-charge Police Colonel Josefino Ligan.
