PORMAL nang nilagdaan ng pamunuan ng dalawang pinakamalaking partido ang kasunduan para sa isang alyansa, sa isang pagtitipon sa Manila Polo Club sa Makati City kaninang umaga.
Sa isang talumpati, malugod na tinanggap ni House Speaker Martin Romualdez na tumatayong presidente ng Lakas-CMD party ang hamon ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ng Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) na sumama sa layunin isulong ang interes ng sambayanang Pilipino sa ilalim ng Bagong Pilipinas.
Garantiya ni Romualdez, suportado ng Lakas-CMD ang socio-economic roadmap ng administrasyon.
“We aim to advocate and pursue measures that will sustain the country’s economic development, attract more foreign investments, create more job and income opportunities, build up food supply, and in general, improve the lives of our people,” wika ng lider ng Kamara.
Ayon sa Leyte lawmaker, target din ng alyansa pagkaisahin ang malawak at iba’t-ibang sektor ng lipunan – “Unity of aspiration and purpose can propel us to economic advancement,” dugtong ng House Speaker.
Sa pagbuo ng tinaguriang “Alyansa Para Sa Bagong Pilipinas,” inihayag ng Lakas-CMD at PFP ang pinag-isang posisyon – ang paglilingkod sa bayan na may “utmost integrity, transparency, accountability, people participation, effectiveness, and efficiency.”
“We have a shared vision that will guide and lead the nation in the goal to achieve sustainable growth and development” and recognize that such vision would be fulfilled through their alliance,” saad sa joint statement ng Lakas-CMD at PFP.
“In view of the shared vision of the PFP and Lakas-CMD, the parties have agreed to forge their alliance that will pave the way for strength and continued positive change for the country to usher in a Bagong Pilipinas,” dagdag pahayag pa ng dalawang partido.
Ang kasunduan para sa alyansa at nilagdaan ni Romualdez (para sa Lakas-CMD) at South Cotabato Gov. Reynaldo Tamayo Jr. (para sa PFP). Tumayong saksi sa pagsasanib-pwersa si Marcos.
Kabilang rin sa mga pumirma sa alyansa sina House Senior Deputy Majority Leader at PFP Vice Chairman Ferdinand Alexander Marcos, PFP Executive Vice President Antonio Lagdameo Jr., Lakas-CMD Chairman Sen. Ramon Revilla Jr. at House Majority Leader Manuel Jose Dalipe, na tumatayong Executive Vice President ng Lakas-CMD.
