BANTAY-sarado na sa Department of Justice (DOJ) ang bawat galaw ni dating Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque sa bisa ng isang immigration lookout bulletin order (ILBO) na inilabas ng Bureau of Immigration (BI).
Bukod kay Roque, pasok din sa talaan ng mga inisyuhan ng ILBO bunsod ng di umano’y koneksyon sa illegal POGO operation sina Cassandra Li Ong ng sinalakay na Super Lucky 99 sa Porac (Pampanga), former Technology and Livelihood Resource Center (TLRC) deputy director general Dennis Cunanan,at siyam na iba pa.
“Considering the gravity of the possible charges, as well as the wide media coverage and public attention this has gained over the past months, there is a strong possibility that the above mentioned nationals may attempt to place themselves beyond the reach of the legal processes of this Department by leaving the country,” saad sa dokumentong nilagdaan ni Immigration Commissioner Norman Tansingco.,
“Hence, we deem the issuance of an Immigration Lookout Bulletin Order (ILBO) against the subject persons in order to at least monitor the itineraries of their flight, travel, and/or whereabouts.”
Matapos mabalitaan ang paglabas ng ILBO laban sa kanya, agad naman binuweltahan ni Roque ang naturang hakbang na tinawag niyang panggigipit ng administrasyon.
“This political witch hunt is intended to silence me as a critic of this Administration and I expect there will up the ante following my call, posted on Facebook, to keep Malacanang drug-free after the damning revelations of eyewitness Cathy Binag,” wika ni Roque sa isang pahayag.
Giit pa ng dating tagapagsalita ng Palasyo, hindi siya apektado ng ILBO lalo pa’t wala naman umanong siyang planong lisanin ang Pilipinas.
“There is no reason to leave the Philippines. I will face my accusers and answer all allegations related to offshore gaming,” aniya pa.
Gayunpaman, nilinaw ni DOJ spokesperson Mico Clavano na wala naman talagang dapat ikabahala si Roque, kasabay ng giit na isang “monitoring mechanism” lamang aniya ang ILBO.
“Hindi naman siya ibig sabihin na hindi pwedeng umalis ang taong under investigation. Ang ibig sabihin lang niya, ma… a-alert lang ang Immigration authorities kung lalabas or papasok dito sa bansa,” sambit ni Clavano sa isang ambush interview.
