IBA’T-IBANG grupong suportado ng tinaguriang Makabayan bloc ang naghain ng panibagong impeachment complaint — pangalawa ngayong taon — laban kay Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
Nagpakilala naman ang nagsasakdal bilang mga ordinaryong Pinoy na kinabibilangan umano ng mga taxpayers, manggagawa, magsasaka, estudyante, guro, maralitang tagalungsod, propesyonal at mga aktibista kontra korapsyon.
Batay sa dokumentong isinumite sa Office of the House Secretary General, partikular na tinukoy ang mga dahilan kung bakit umano kailangan sipain sa pwesto ang Pangulo.
Kabilang sa batayan ang umano’y sistematiko at malawakang pandarambong sa pondo ng gobyerno sa pamamagitan ng “presidential and congressional allocations for pet-projects” sa ilalim ng inaprubahang national budget.
Talamak din anila, ang pang-aabuso sa unprogrammed appropriations para mas maraming maanomalyang infrastructure projects ang maisagawa, subalit ang motibo ay ang pagkubra ng bilyones na “kickbacks.”
“The system of kickbacks, SOP’s and “commitments” from these projects, (were) intended for the President and coursed through his top officials. The system of “allocables” and unprogrammed appropriations remains to this day,” anila.
“The SOPs and kickbacks involving top officials of the administration have not been investigated. These only demonstrate the President’s complicity in corruption. Lahat ng sangkot ay dapat managot, simula sa tuktok,” giit pa ng grupo.
Ang tumatayong “endorser” ng ikalawang impeachment complaint laban kay Marcos ang mga kongresista mula sa Makabayan bloc.
“We expect that this verified complaint will be transmitted to the Speaker and included in the order of business, and not be excluded in favor of what many are saying is a weak first complaint intended to shield the President.” (ROMER R. BUTUYAN)
