WALANG masama kung dadalo sa pagdinig na Kamara ang isang “material witness” kahit pa nakapiit bunsod ng kinakaharap na kaso.
Ito ang buod ng mensahe ng Manila Regional Trial Court matapos maglabas ng pahintulot sa pagdalo ni Ramil Madriaga na sinasabing dating bagman ni Vice President Sara Duterte.
Partikular na kinatigan ng Manila RTC Branch 21 ang hiling ng House Justice Committee na payagan si Madriaga humarap sa pagdinig ng House panel kaugnay ng dalawang impeachment complaints na inihain laban sa bise-presidente.
Pag-amin ni Bicol Saro Rep. Terry Ridon, pormal nang natanggap ng komite ang kautusan ni Manila RTC Presiding Judge Alma Crispina Collado-Lacorte, sa Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) na dalhin sa Kamara si Madriaga sa Abril 14.
“Acting on the letter dated March 31, 2026 by Hon. Atty. Gerville ‘Jinky’ Bitrics/R. Luistro, Chairperson, Committee on Justice and Hon. Faustino ‘Bojie’ G. Dy III, Speaker of the House of Representatives, requesting the Court to allow PDL Ramil Lagonoy (sic) Madriaga to appear before the Committee on Justice… the same is GRANTED,” saad sa isang bahagi ng court order.
“Accordingly, accused Ramil Madriaga y Lagonoy is hereby allowed to appear before the Committee on Justice located at the 2nd Floor of the People Center, House of Representatives, Batasang Pambansa Complex, Constitution Hills, Quezon City on April 14, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with proper jail escorts.”
Inatasan din ni Judge Collado-Lacorte ang jail warden ng MMDJ Annex 2 na magsumite ng kaukulang report sa loob ng limang araw matapos tugunan ang nabanggit na kautusan.
Una nang tinukoy si Madriaga bilang pangunahing testigo sa reklamo laban sa bise-presidente. Para sa House Justice Committee, lubhang mahalaga makapagbigay ng testimonya si Madriaga.
“The House Committee on Justice will resume its hearing for the determination of probable cause on the above-captioned impeachment proceeding on April 14, 2026, with Ramil Lagunoy Madriaga being one of the key personalities to be invited as resource person or witness,” ang nilalaman ng ipinadalang request letter ng komite sa sala ni Judge Collado-Lacorte na may petsang March 31, 2026.
