KASABAY ng pakikidalamhati sa trahedya sinapit ng mga mag-aaral sa San Jose National High School sa Tacloban City, kinalampag ni Leyte Rep. Martin Romualdez ang lahat ng ahensya ng pamahalaan tiyakin ang higit na kaligtasan sa mga paaralan sa buong bansa.
Sa isang kalatas, nanawagan din si Romualdez ng mabilis at malalimang imbestigasyon para sa agarang pagbibigay-hustisya sa mga biktima at pagpapanagot sa mga responsable sa malagim na insidente.
Nag-alok din ng tulong ang dating lider ng Kamara sa mga pamilya ng mga biktima.
“I have directed my office to coordinate with local authorities and relevant government agencies to determine what assistance can immediately be provided to the affected families,” pahayag ni Romualdez.
“At the same time, I call on law enforcement authorities to conduct a thorough and swift investigation so that all those responsible are held fully accountable under the law,” dugtong ng former House Speaker.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims, the injured students, their classmates, teachers, and the entire school community as they face this unimaginable tragedy,” anang Leyte solon.
“In this difficult time, let us unite as one community in prayer, compassion, and support for those affected.”
Bukod kay Romualdez, kaisa rin ang Tingog partylist sa pagbibigay ng tulong sa mga biktima, kasama na ang pakikipag-ugnayan sa mga ahensya ng gobyerno.
“At this difficult hour, our first responsibility is to care for the victims and their families. Tingog Partylist is already coordinating with the concerned hospitals, the Tacloban City Government, the Department of Education, and relevant national agencies to help ensure that the injured students receive the medical attention they need,” pahayag ng Tingog partylist.
“Tingog Partylist also recognizes that the wounds from this tragedy go far beyond physical injuries. Psychosocial support must immediately reach the bereaved families, the injured students, their classmates, teachers, school personnel, and the wider San Jose community.”
“To the families who have lost their children, we mourn with you. To the injured and traumatized students, you are not alone. Tingog Partylist stands with the San Jose National High School community, and the people of Tacloban City in prayer, solidarity, and concrete action, so that healing may begin and every learner may return to school with safety, dignity, and hope,” pangwakas na pahayag ng Tingog.
