PARA sa liderato ng Kamara de Representantes, malaking bentahe ang pagkakaisa at tulungan sa hanay ng mga ahensya ng pamahalaan para labanan at ibsan ang epekto ng pagtaas sa presyo ng mga bilihin sa mga pamilihan.
“Civil servants need to act in unison to implement government programs from the national to local levels,” bungad na pahayag ni House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
“Now, more than ever, is the time for unity and teamwork. Let’s roll up our sleeves, work double-time, and deliver real results for our kababayans,” anang lider ng Mababang Kapulungan.
Kumbinsido rin si Romualdez na magsisimula nang bumaba ang presyo ng mga pangunahing bilihin sa merkado – partikular ang pagkain – dahil sa pagpasok ng panahon ng anihan.
Gayunpaman, nilinaw ng opisyal na hindi paghihintay ang tugon sa usapin hinggil sa mataas na inflation rate sa bansa – “But this isn’t just about waiting for harvests. This is about all of us in government coming together to ensure our people feel relief faster.”
Aniya, walang puwang ang agam-agam ng publiko lalo pa’t aktibo naman ang pamahalaan sa paglulunsad ng iba’t-ibang programa naglalayong magbigay-agapay sa mga mamamayan mula sa epekto price hike dala ng global inflation.
“A new digital food stamp program has been introduced, granting struggling families an allowance of P3,000 monthly. This timely assistance is a lifeline for families facing food scarcity and provides extra support to pregnant and nursing mothers,” ani Romualdez.
Dagdag pa niya, maging ang iniindang pagsipa sa pump price ng mga produktong petrolyo ay tinutugunan din ng pamahalaan sa paraan ng pamamahagi ng fuel subsidy sa hanay ng public transportation sector.
“Farmers, the heroes behind our country’s food supply, haven’t been overlooked. Financial assistance is flowing to rice farmers, with an additional incentive; the government is committing to purchase their rice yields at improved rates, safeguarding their livelihoods and ensuring they receive just compensation for their hard work,” mariing sabi pa ni Romualdez.
