MAGSISILBING caretaker si Vice President Sara Duterte habang nasa Japan si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. para sa Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) – Japan Commemorative Summit.
“The Vice President will discharge her duties and will preside as Chairperson of the Executive Committee meetings in Davao City during the official travel abroad of President Marcos from December 15 to 18,” ayon sa kalatas ng Office of the Vice President na inilabas ngayong Sabado.
“She will hold office in DepEd NEAP Davao and OVP Davao Satellite office,” ayon pa sa kalatas.
Umalis si Marcos nitong Biyernes para sa tatlong araw na summit para sa ika-50 taong pagkakaibigan at kooperasyon sa pagitan ng ASEAN region at north Asian country.
“The Philippines will always continue to shepherd ASEAN initiatives and projects with Japan not only to co-create a region of economic prosperity, but also an inclusive society that is ready for the future,” sabi ni Marcos sa kanyang talumpati bago umalis ng bansa.
