
ITINALAGA ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. si Rafael Consing Jr. bilang president at chief executive officer (CEO) ng Maharlika Investment Corporation (MIC), ayon sa Malacañang ngayong Lunes.
Si Consing, itinalaga nitong Enero bilang executive director ng Office of the Presidential Adviser for Investment and Economic Affairs, ay inaasahang makahihimok ng investor na mamumuhunan sa kontrobersiyal na wealth fund sa gitna ng kawalan ng kasiguraduhan sa mundo.
“He is an accomplished, results-driven, and multi-awarded C-level executive with a profound depth of experience in corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, global capital markets, stakeholder relations, and business strategy development,” sabi ng Malacañang.
Bago siya mailuklok sa posisyon, umupo na rin siya sa pribadong sektor, ang huli ay bilang senior vice-president at chief financial officer ng pag-aari ni Enrique Razon na International Container Terminal Services, Incorporated (ICTSI).
Vice president at treasurer din siya ng Aboitiz group, at managing director ng HSBC.
Nagtapos siya sa De La Salle University, Manila.
Galing din siya sa Stanford University Graduate School of Business’s Emerging CFO: Strategic Financial Leadership Program noong 2016.
