HINDI bababa sa 12,000 benepisyaryo mula sa Davao region ang tumanggap ng tulong mula mismo sa dalawang haligi ng gobyerno — sina Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., at House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
Sa kalatas ng Office of the Speaker, kasama rin ni Marcos at Romualdez sa pamamahagi ng nasa P100 milyong halaga ng cash assistance sa mga residente ng Davao sina Sec. Rex Gatchalian ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), partylist Rep. Yedda K. Romualdez at Jude Acidre ng Tingog partylist.
Ayon kay Romualdez, ang cash assistance na ipinamahagi sa mga residente sa bisa ng programang Ayuda para sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP).
“With the instruction of President Marcos, we will continue to deliver direct assistance to our people, especially with the good news about the inflation last month that eased to 1.9 percent from 3.3 percent in August and 4.4 percent in July,” ani Romualdez.
“From the national level down to local officials, President Marcos is working very hard through unity and cooperation to deliver meaningful support and uplift the lives of the Filipino people,” dagdag pa ng lider ng Kamara.
Sa panig ni Congresswoman Yedda Romualdez, maybahay ng House Speaker, pinuri ang administrasyon sa patuloy na pagsisikap tulungan ang tinaguriang “vulnerable sector” na aniya’y higit na nangangailangan ng suporta mula sa pamahalaan.
“The Marcos administration is very responsive to the needs of our people, and it is our commitment that no Filipino should feel abandoned during crises. Tingog will always work hard to ensure that aid will be delivered to those who need it most,” wika ng babaeng kongresista.
“Tingog, being a consistent partner of the Marcos administration in providing help to all sectors, will continue to champion efforts that bring tangible support to our people. Whether it is healthcare workers, students, educators, and others, they all deserve timely assistance,” sambit naman ni Acidre.
Sa impormasyong ibinahagi ni House Deputy Secretary General Sofonias “Ponyong” P. Gabonada, kabilang sa mga tumanggap ng tulong mula sa naturang flagship program ng administrasyong Marcos sa Davao region ay ang hanay ng mga healthcare workers, estudyante, kabataan, guro, iba pang indibidwal at pamilya.
Ayon kay Gabonada, ang AKAP payout ay ginanap noong Oktubre 2 sa Davao de Oro State College (DDOSC) New Bataan Campus, kung saan 2,190 estudyante ang nakatanggap ng tig-P2,000 tulong o kabuuang P4.38 milyon.
Dumalo rin sa naturang aktibidad sina reelectionist Sen. Bong Revilla, Davao de Oro 1st District Rep. Maria Carmen Zamora, at iba pang lider ng Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD) mula sa mga bayan New Bataan, Monkayo, Compostela, Montevista, Maragusan, Maco, Nabunturan, at Laak.
“This is the commitment of the Marcos administration and the House of Representatives under Speaker Romualdez’s leadership in partnership with Tingog Partylist, government agencies, and local officials to continue supporting Filipinos in need, especially in the face of challenging times,” ani Gabonada.
Pinangunahan naman ng tanggapan ni Romualdez, Tingog, DSWD at iba pang katuwang na ahensya ang payout sa Davao Regional Medical Center (DRMC) sa Tagum City kung saan nasa 2,288 benepisyaryo ang binigyan ng tig-P10,000 o kabuuang P22.88 milyon.
Pasok din sa mga hinatiran ng kabuuang P56.09 milyon ang may 5,609 benepisyaryo sa Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) sa Davao City na tig-P10,000.
Ginanap ang payout ceremony sa Medical Social Service Building ng SPMC at dinaluhan ng mga pangunahing opisyal kabilang sina Dr. Ricardo Audan, Medical Center Chief, Atty. Oscar Mata, Chief Administrative Officer, Director Edwin Morata mula sa DSWD-Central, at Gerry Ramirez, Social Services Head ng Office of the Speaker.
Natulungan din sa ilalim ng AKAP noong Oktubre 5 ang 1,721 guro sa pribadong paaralan sa Tagum City na nakatanggap ng tig-P5,000 o kabuuang P8l605 milyon, ayon kay Gabonada. Dumalo sa event sina Davao del Norte Vice Governor De Carlo “Oyo” Uy at ilan pang opisyal sa lugar.
