SA bisa ng pinagtibay na House Resolution 1132, binigyang pagkilala ng Kamara si Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. at iba pang ahensya ng pamahalaan sa mahusay na pagtugon matapos yanigin ng magnitude 7.8 ang Sarangani, General Santos City, at iba pang bahagi ng Mindanao.
“The House commends President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. and the concerned national government agencies for their swift, effective, coordinated, and compassionate response to the victims of the Magnitude 7.8 Earthquake of 8 June 2026,” noting that these efforts reflected “the Administration’s commitment to public service and the welfare of the Filipino people,” saad sa HR 1132 na pangunahing akda ni House Speaker Faustino Dy III, at iba pang ranking House officials sa pangunguna ni Senior Deputy Speaker at South Cotabato Rep. Ferdinand Hernandez.

Binigyang-pagkilala ng Kamara ang agarang pagtugon ng gobyerno sa lindol na nagdulot ng pagkasawi, pinsala sa buhay at iba’t-ibang ari-arian, kabilang ang mga kabahayan, eskwelahan, ospital, kalsada, tulay at ilang mahahalagang public infrastructure at facilities sa mga apektadong lugar sa Mindanao.
Pinuri rin ang pagsusumikap ng National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRM), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Health (DOH), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Department of Energy (DOE), Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), gayundin ang telecommunication providers, iba pang government at private sector partners.
“The coordinated actions of these agencies and organizations “have significantly mitigated the effects of the disaster” through the delivery of emergency relief, medical assistance, communications connectivity, electricity and fuel support, road-clearing operations, infrastructure restoration, damage assessments, and other essential services.”
