ASAHAN ang dagdag-presyo sa mga produktong agrikulturang binabyahe sa Metro Manila bunsod ng ipapataw na dagdag-singil sa toll fee para sa mga sasakyang bumabagtas ng Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX).
Ayon sa NLEX Corp., na operator ng SCTEX, aprubado na ng Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) ang implementasyon ng ikalawang bugso ng naantalang toll adjustment para sa taong 2021 at 2023.
Sa kalatas ng NLEX Corp., ipapatupad ang karagdagang P0.64 kada kilometro para sa Class 1 vehicles, P1.29 kada kilometro para sa Class 2, at P1.93 kada kilometro para sa Class 3 pagsapit ng Nobyembre 19.
“The additional rates, which followed strict compliance with regulatory procedures and underwent thorough review, were part of the approved periodic adjustments of SCTEX due in 2021 and 2023,” saad sa pahayag ng tollway operator.
“The increase was deferred and divided into three tranches that will be collected over three years to help curb the inflationary strains and ease impact on the users of the expressway.”
Paliwanag ng NLEX Corp., inaprubahan ng TRB ang dagdag-singil sa toll fee matapos isaayos ang toll road Oktubre ng nakalipas na taon.

“From 2020 to 2023, the company undertook numerous infrastructure and enhancements projects as part of its commitment to improve motorists’ safety and convenience while traversing the expressway,” dugtong ng kumpanya.
