INARESTO ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) agents sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) ang isang overstaying Israeli national sa tangkang pag-alis ng bansa patungong Indonesia gamit ang pekeng pasaporte.
Sa report kay Immigration Commissioner Norman Tansingco, tinangka ng 28-anyos na Israeli na umalis bansa.
Sa NAIA terminal 3 na siya naharang habang pasakay ng Cebu Pacific flight patungong Denpasar, Indonesia.
“When asked by the immigration officer how and where he obtained the said passport, the passenger readily admitted that he procured the same from a fixer for a fee of P10,000,” sabi ni BI-BCIU overall deputy chief Joseph Cueto.
Nabatid din na peke ang lahat ng dokumentong isinumite nito.
“The use of these spurious passports will no longer work as immigration officers are trained and adept in detecting fraudulent travel documents,” sabi ng BI chief.
